Mrs. Jalessa Slade, CFRE is the President & CEO of Slade Consulting and has a passion for providing mission driven results for nonprofits. She has over 10 years of extensive experience working in nonprofits, including community outreach, grant research and writing, fund development, media and communications, and program development and implementation. Within Southwestern Indiana, Jalessa has worked on behalf of the Evansville African American Museum as Director of Development and interim Executive Director, Development Associate at Carver Community Organization, and Community Impact Manager at the United Way of Southwestern Indiana. She is a member of the University of Evansville’s Alumni Association Board of Directors.

In 2022, Jalessa joined over 7,500 professionals around the world who hold the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation. Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, and demonstrated fundraising achievement. They have also passed a rigorous written examination testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive, and have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.
